“What are some hidden tips/tricks or items to look for that the average PUBG (player unknown battlegrounds) Mobile app player might not know?”
It won’t be updated as often as the original, but will have some info
1 - When you crouch or go prone, your recoil is reduced significantly. You can even spray cars with accuracy at a superb range.
2 - Always get a Extended Mag over a Quick-withdraw. The best attachment is the Extended Quick withdraw.
3 - Swing around your Pan when running in a open field. There is about a 30–50% chance you’ll deflect a bullet when being shot at. That is awesome.
4 - Use smoke grenades for healing and shielding a knocked teammate.
5 - Use Frag Grenade to explode people inside buildings.
6 - Use Molotov's in staircases and when you see people in small sheds.
7 - Use Stun Grenades to stun people and annoy your teammates, you all did this.
8 - For a AR, get a flash hider, not a suppressor. You only use AR's in close range (except for the (M16A4). Flash hiders make it hard for other people far away to see you in your battle. And they reduce recoil.
9 - For a DMR, use a compensator or flash hider for all 7.62 ammo guns. You can use a suppressor for the Mini14. DMRs have a lot of recoil, especially the SLR and Mk14.
10 - Use suppressors on snipers. Since snipers are bolt-action (you have to manually remove the bullet after each fire), recoil doesn’t really matter.
Note: Suppressors also reduce a little flash, but no recoil
11 - Even though the Half Grip states it increases recoil, it actually improves your performance. The description also states it “increases recoil recovery”, so when you shoot, your gun would recover to previous location quicker, but not fully. Most people immediately avoid the half grip because of the description.
12 - The Tommy Gun (Thompson SMG) seems like a absolutely trash gun, but if you get a extended mag, it instantly becomes a very good one. If you find a Extended mag, the Tommy Gun will be able to fit 50 rounds. That's the second highest magazine in the game! And the ammo, .45 ACP, hardly takes any carrying space. You can carry over 300 ammo without a book bag, and 500 rounds with any vest. Fun Fact, the Tommy Gun used to be a drop only gun.
13 - Wearing a vest increases carrying space
14 - Wearing Level 3 backpacks can give away your position. They leave a huge bump when your prone. If you don’t go prone, then feel free to grab a level 3 backpacks.
15 - Wearing a guile suit covers up any backpacks, even if it has a bulge.
16 - Always go for drops, drops are always the best guns, unless the groza. The groza is only for close range PERIOD. But it is the best gun in close range though.
17 - Crossbows might have the smallest magazine in the game, but is has the second to highest damage. The crossbow is an instant one shot kill to the head and at least two shots to the body. If your not comfortable with the magazine, I would recommend a shotgun.
18 - Many people hate shotguns, but really, they can be one of the best guns in pubg, especially the S12K. Shotguns take one to two shots to kill someone, and three if they’re wearing level 3 armor or you aim bad.
19 - The Vector and UZI have the highest firing speeds in the game. But you can only achieve that with a quick-withdraw mag in the vector and a extended quick mag for the uzi.
Fun Fact, VSS bullets travel slower then the bullet of the lowest damage gun in PUBG (the p18c).
20 - Don’t always pick up the highest scope you can find. Put Red Dots or Holographic sights on close range guns and the larger scopes on DMRs or Snipers. The ideal scope set-up would be AR: Red Dot/Holo/2x SMG: Red Dot/ Holo DMR: 4x/6x/8x and Red Dot for Mk14 only SR: 4x/6x/8x.
21 - Pick up only 15 bandages unless you have the space for more.
22 - Always ask other teammates if they need more meds so you can evenly distribute the carrying capacity
23 - Pick up at most 300 ammo.
24 - You can see beside walls in TPP
25 - Change you outfit to make it harder for people to see you in the terrain. I make my outfit a tan color, so I can blend in with the ground.
EDIT: Dang, didn’t realize I’d get so many upvotes. Here’s some more!:
26 - Go into settings and turn on peek and scope. It lets you peek around walls and trees
27- Go into settings and turn on quick scope switch. This is really important when you use a AR or DMR.
28 - The DP-28 has more damage, less recoil, and larger magazine then the AKM. But you can’t put a muzzle (suppressor, compensator, flash hider), grip, extended mag or quick withdraw. You can only put a scope of up to 6x. Also, the bullet speed is extremely slow compared to the AKM. This is best for solo squads or any close range.
29 - If your bad on recoil, for a AR use a 5.56 ammo gun. For DMR, use a mini14 or any DMR with a compensator or flash hider. Use a light grip or any grip. And any SMG is very good on recoil.
30 - If you have a Android, go to settings, then System, then Developer settings, and scroll down till you see Force 4x. Turning this on will increase performance in PUBG by forcing top performance and will result in a reduction most lag. But it’ll decrease battery life.
31 - Go to Developer settings, scroll till you see Force GPU rendering or something like that. Turning it on would put the display processing from the CPU, to the GPU. Since the GPU can handle the work, this would give the CPU a little boost, and would result in better performance in gaming and loading speeds, without affecting display performance.
32- Keep your phone charging while you play. Giving your phone the power it needs improves performance. But just know that hot temperatures can damage the battery’s structure, but it won’t drastically decrease performance. In fact, I do this all the time on my 180 dollar phone. So far so good.
33 - If you phone overheats, either turn the brightness down to decrease heat or put a ice pack on the back of your phone.
34 - Back to PUBG: Go into settings and put sensitivity to low if you have bad aim and med-high if you play war a lot.
35 - Getting a phone with a wider display lets you see a wider view
36 - When you have a lot of boosters or have a Adrenaline, don’t save it. Painkillers and shots take up TONS of space, so feel free to use it whenever.
37 - (this one’s kinda obvious, I can’t believe I haven’t said this yet) Always use headphones. Headphones let you hear footsteps from .5 sec to 2 sec faster then what you see on the map. And headphones give you better aiming accuracy
38- Don’t go prone as much. Going prone might reduce recoil and make it harder to be spotted, but when you do get spotted, it takes you like 2 seconds to get up. Most of the hardcore PUBG players never go prone unless they are looting.
39 - Go prone when you loot. This is more important in PC then mobile because the bodies don’t respawn. If you go prone, you’ll sort of blend with the box.
40 - In settings, set up the quick chat to adapt to your situations better.
41- This one’s a big one: Use the same ammo for all your guns. For example, a M416 and a Mini14 would be a killer layout. Especially the AKM/Mk14 and M24/Kar98k. Using the same ammo for both of your guns will save up SO MUCH space.
42 - You can carry up to 1100 -1200 9mm ammo with a Level 3 bookbag with vest. 900 5.56, and 700 7.62.
43 - The AWM has INCREDIBLE damage and range. There is like a 70% chance you one shot kill someone for very far range and a 100% chance if its a headshot. I even sometimes avoid this gun because i’m not used to the almost completly straight bullet drop. The only downsides it that it uses its own ammo and is drop only.
44 - For pistols (I don’t know why), the R45 and R1895 are good if your good on headshots, with pistols. The P1911 is good for basically everything. The P92 is good for people who have bad aim and need the large magazine. And the P18C is also good for people who have bad aim. I would say the P18C is good for all close range purposes, but it does have a really bad damage. It takes 5 P18C bullets to blow a Mirado tire, 4 for the P92, 3 for the P1911, and 2 for a revolver.
Fun Fact: The P18C is the only pistol that has a FULL AUTO mode.
45 - Long range AR: M16A4 | Medium to close range AR: M416 (personal favorite and probably the best AR), and AUG | Close range AR: SCAR - L, AKM, Groza. Technically, every AR is for close to medium, but guns like the Groza are absolutely horrible in far to medium range.
46 - NEVER do full auto in range unless its a Machine Gun with the stand out and your prone.
Challange!: Try doing full auto with a AKM/Groza with 6x! and full auto at medium to far range Bet that you can’t handle it without stopping.
47- Always turn on voice chat. If you turn on voice chat and your other teammates also do, there is a almost guarantee that you’ll win, unless something really bad happens like your teammate drops really far away.
48 - Always stay together PERIOD. Most of the reasons why squads always lose is because some people either want or don’t want to go to highly populated areas. If most of your team is going to Pochinki but you hate higly populated areas, still go to Pockiki. I used to have this issue, but one time I landed in pochinki, it wasn’t that bad. Just stay close to another experienced teammate.
WARNING: Never use a mouse and keyboard on PUBg Mobile. Yes, you can use it and it works almost as good as PC, but doing so would get you hardware banned and you won’t be able to play on that device AND account. So don’t even think about doing it.
49 - Don’t be afraid to use a car. 90% of the time your driving at about 70 and about km/h, people won’t be able to shoot you. And you can spot people easily.
50 - Zharki has lots of shotguns, if your into that.
51 - I forgot to say this a while ago, but in Developer settings, scroll to background process limit, and turn it to no background processes. This is good during a game, but can be bad in normal use. Only turn it on to save battery life.
51 - The Thumb Grip reduces a little recoil, but makes opening scope crazy fast. That means when you open your scope or iron sight, its a lot faster. This would be good for close range. And most SMGs can equip this.
52 - The Mk47 Mutant is probably the worst gun in pubg. Smallest magazine, only burst mode and the burst is only two bullets, recoil recovery is slow, the recoil is extremely high, the damage is same with AKM, only the bullet speed is a little higher, and you can’t equip a 8x. The only reason you would get this gun is for emergencies or as a long range AR, like the M16A4. But the M16A4 has larger magazine, better ammo, and a three bullet burst mode. The only good thing about it is the sound effect. It just sounds cool.
53 - Change the right fire button to a small size and the left fire button to a larger size. This would reduce the amount of accidental fire.
54- This is a opinion, but I turn off auto pick-up because they can sometimes pick up useless stuff. For example, on a DMR, the auto pick-up switched out a extended mag with a quick-withdraw. Completely useless. Also, when you turn off auto pick-up, you have a better sense of what’s in your backpack. And that is very crucial.
55 - The 6-seater van in Miramar has the highest health, but the worst speed.
56 - The Mirado (roof and no roof) are the fastest cars in the game. They can go up to 145 km/h. The downsides are they’re only in Miramar and can be hard to control.
57 - The Buggy is very good on terrain, but drifts out of control VERY easily. Its a common spawn in Erangel
58 - The UAZ has VERY good control and has decent speeds and health. But the best part is the gas tank, its the largest in the game. And its a common spawn
59 - The Motorbike is not the fastest vehicle. But is the fastest without a speed boost.
60 - If you see someone behind a car, spray the car and the car will explode and kill the person behind it. The fastest way to explode a car is to spam a S12K.
61 - If your hiding somewhere, park your car far away so it won’t give away your position
62 - IMPORTANT: After you drop out of a plane, you can go as far as 1600 m
63 - When you release a parachute, push forward for two seconds, then release the joystick for two seconds. Repeating that would increase your speed and make you go further, without decreasing as much altitude as constantly going further.
64 - Land on the roofs of buildings with loot on the roof. Gives you a large landing pad and good loot.
65 - DO NOT go to starter island
66 - DO NOT use Bluetooth headsets
67 - I don’t think you can do this in mobile, but when you throw a throw-able, jump when you throw to throw harder.
UPDATE: The new PUBG Mobile update has a Zombie mode and training now has newer vehicles. You can also explode vehicles with people inside them.
68 - Pochinki actually doesn’t have the highest loot concentration.
69 - Winery in Vikendi has a lot of flare guns. I had a squad game where we found 4 FLARES.
70 - Georgopol, Yasnaya Polyana, and Novoreonoye have the largest amount of loot. Georgopol has lots of people, but has 5 different locations. Yasnaya is kind of popular, but since the area is so big, its easy to find a house. Novoreonoye is probably the best location to go. No many know of this place and has one of the most and best loot. Only avoid it when the plane route is less then 1000 meters of it.
71 - Not many people go to Mylta Power, but the area has some good loot if your the only squad there.
72 - Military Base doesn’t have much loot.
73 - Primsork has about the same amount of loot as pochinki.
74 - Go to PUBG Interactive Map for TONS of info on vehicle spawns, garages, loot spawns, and terrain info on ALL THE MAPS.
75 - The Revolver has more damage then the AKM, somehow. But the firing speed is HORRIBLE. You would much rather use a R45.
76 - SMG Suppressors in the rain are DEADLY.
77 - S12Ks can somehow be equipped with suppressors. A shotgun, with a suppressor. And you can put a scope of up to 6x.
78 - Always look at the plane route before the match starts.
79 - If your being sniped on a bridge, just jump off the side. You won’t take damage if you land in the water and you won’t die if you accidentally land on land.
80 - Shotgun chokes improve longer range. But the S12K can’t equip it.
